Even if Liverpool don’t pick up their maiden Premier League title this term, (which is looking increasingly likely) it would be impossible for their fans not to regard the campaign as a total success.
Under Brendan Rodgers, the side has wowed on countless occasions with sublime footballing performances, outscoring any other side in Europe, and guaranteeing themselves a place in next season’s Champions League as a result.

5) Liverpool 4-0 Everton
The Reds thrashed their Merseyside rivals, with Daniel Sturridge notching an excellent brace, and missing the chance to secure his hat-trick when he fired over from the penalty spot.
Everton couldn’t handle Liverpool’s frantic pressing game, and the front three of Raheem Sterling, Luis Suarez and Sturridge rang rings around Everton’s usually solid defenders.
The sublime Uruguayan added a brilliant fourth, and Roberto Martinez’s were delighted to hear the final whistle – having been taught a complete footballing lesson.
