Rodgers is looking to strengthen during the close season.
It was a brilliant 2013/14 season for Liverpool as although they missed out on the Premier League title, their second place finish takes them back to the Champions League for the first time in five years.
However, manager Brendan Rodgers is aware that his squad is much more minimal when compared to that of their league rivals and therefore strengthening is needed over the summer.
Here are the areas the Northern Irishman needs to target.
Goalkeepers
Despite many thinking Simon Mignolet has failed to live up to his £9m price-tag after a move from Sunderland in 2013. Rodgers is a big fan of the Belgian.
Yet beyond that cover is a little weak and Pepe Reina is likely to be sold after returning from a 12 month loan spell with Napoli.
That is why Rodgers has his eye on his former Swansea City No.1 Michel Vorm – reports the Liverpool Echo – who’s own place at the Liberty Stadium is under threat after the Swans signed Lukasz Fabianski from Arsenal.
