Iago Aspas – A small La Liga club – £3-5m
Although he can’t be blamed for his injury, Aspas was pretty dire when he managed to get on the pitch earlier in the season.
He’s reportedly unsettled, and with Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge all firing, it seems unlikely that Aspas will ever make a significant contribution to the first-team.
The best thing for both the player and the club would be for Aspas to return to his homeland, while Liverpool can still demand some sort of transfer fee.
Tiago Ilori – Valencia – On loan
The Portuguese youngster arrived in the summer for a hefty £7m, but hasn’t made a single first-team appearance yet.
To ensure he doesn’t rot in the reserves, a loan move to interested Valencia could do him some good, although it would arguably be more productive to send him to a Championship side where he could truly get used to English football at its most physical.
