Midfielder believes his side will bounce back
After a disappointing start to the 2013/14 campaign Chiefs midfielder Lucky Baloyi believes his side will soon be back amongst the top of the table.
Last year Kaizer Chiefs won the title, pipping silver stars to the post by just one point.
This year though with three games gone Stuart Baxter’s side have only registered four points and are down in 9th position.
Speaking to Goal South Africa, Baloyi reiterated the fact that he believes Chiefs will soon be title chasing again.
“We know what we need to do to return to our winning ways We always approach each game with a winning mentality and it was no different for the game against SuperSport United.
“We gave them too much space to exploit us in the second half and they punished us. Our next game is at home and we need to start winning quickly.”
Chiefs face Maritzburg Utd after the September international break, The team of choice are of five team sat on four points after three games.
Although it’s early on in the season, should Chiefs lose this encounter then they may find themselves six points adrift of the top clutch of sides with only four games gone.
