Liverpool want the monye up front but Barca want staggered payments.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez’s highly anticipated move to Barcelona has been put on hold due to negotiations over the payment structure of the £75 million transfer.
The Daily Mail reports that the Catalan giants want to pay the money in staggered installments, whilst the Reds want the whole sum up front to enable them to re-invest the money in their squad.
These negotiations, however, have reportedly not slowed down the shirt sales of the Uruguayan in a sports shop in Barcelona with the No.9 on the back.
All indications point to a deal being finalised pretty quickly as the Reds are very keen on several potential forward targets to replace their 27-year old star.
The likes of Lazar Markovic from Benfica, Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona and Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich are firmly on the radar of Kop boss Brendan Rodgers, who has already agreed a deal with Lille to sign 19-year old Belgian starlet Divock Origi.
