The Sunday Express linked the Ivorian with a switch to Stamford Bridge earlier this month whilst there has been constant speculation that former City boss Roberto Mancini could attempt to reunite with the player by bringing him to Inter Milan.
However, his representative, Dimitri Seluk, has now revealed that Toure would be more than happy to see out the remaining two years of his contract at the Etihad and laughed off reports that he was looking for a pay rise and could even quit the club, according to the Daily Mail.
If he did stay in Manchester, Toure would be set to earn around £22.9 million through his £220,000-a-week deal that he signed just two years ago.
Whilst it’s not been a season up to his usual standards, Toure still remains a vital and dangerous part of the City machine as his winning performance against Swansea showed last week.
