Adidas and 888poker are looking to distance themselves from the Uruguayan.
There is more bad news for Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez following his alleged bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during their 2014 World Cup match on Tuesday.
Suarez appeared to bite the Juventus star on the shoulder during the game and images showed what looked like teeth marks on the Italian’s shoulder after the incident.
It’s the third time in the 27-year-old’s career that he has been accused of biting an opponent, with the most recent example coming in 2013 when the forward was served a 10-match ban for sinking his teeth into Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic.
As a result of his misdemeanours, two of Suarez’s sponsors – Adidas and 888poker – are preparing to pull out of the deals they currently have with the Uruguayan, reports ITV.
The sports manufacturer are holding a meeting after they used Suarez in their advertising campaign for the World Cup, whilst 888poker are ‘reviewing their relationship’ with the 2014 PFA Player of the Year.
Following recent allegations made against Luis Suárez, we are reviewing our relationship with him. We will not tolerate unsporting behavior.

As good as Suarez is on the pitch – as shown by the 31 Premier League goals the attacker netted last season – controversy appears to follow him wherever he goes.
The South American was also banned for biting another player whilst with former side Ajax, whilst in 2011 the Reds star was served an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra.
FIFA have confirmed that they have opened disciplinary proceedings concerning the incident with Suarez and Chiellini and if found guilty the striker is likely to face a hefty international ban.
