Manchester City are still in pursuit of VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, and they have been expected to make another splash signing as they are willing to bid £45m.
According to the Daily Express, Man City are expected to complete a £45m deal for the former Chelsea midfielder this week.
They are already banking on the Belgian international arriving at the Etihad, as they have indicated by booking a medical exam for him.
The 24-year-old is expected to receive a deal worth £140,000-per-week, which will last over the span of six years.
Man City have already made a major signing in midfielder Raheem Sterling, who also signed a deal worth £45m after leaving Liverpool.
De Bruyne has yet to prove his worth in the Premier League.
He only made nine appearances for Chelsea in his only season at Stamford Bridge, which makes this potential deal a risk.
However, he showed plenty of potential with Wolfsburg by scoring 16 goals in 51 appearances while dishing out a whopping 27 assists.
