Man City transfer news
The talented 21-year-old has been slightly off form this season, but remains one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe at the moment, also attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester United in recent times.
Still, City may need reinforcements in midfield as star player Toure has recently been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with the Ivory Coast international also looking somewhat in decline this term.
Barkley looks an ideal candidate to replace Toure if he fulfills his tremendous potential, though he won’t come cheap.
