GK: Willy Caballero – 4/10
In for Joe Hart, the Argentinian stopper had a woeful game in which he was arguably at fault for three of the goals after failing to command his area and deal with the threat.
RB: Bacary Sagna 5/10
Always a willing runner down the right flank, but as a collective defensive effort, Pellegrini will be disappointed with his back line this afternoon.
CB: Nicolas Otamendi – 5/10
Commanding at times, but the culpability of conceding four goals falls on his shoulders too which ensures that he rates poorly.
CB: Martin Demichelis 5/10
Stepping in for Vincent Kompany was always going to be a tough challenge and he was lucky not to be sent off in the second half.
LB: Aleksandar Kolarov – 5/10
Similarly to Sagna, Kolarov put in a shift on his flank, but it was a frustrating game for the Serbian and he won’t be pleased with his defensive performance.
