The Premier League champions want to offload Jovetic for around £22m this month, and reports say that Juventus are interested in bringing the Montenegro international back to Serie A.
This could then give City an advantage in their bid to sign Pogba, who has also been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in recent times.
The 21-year-old is a superb young talent and would be a huge signing for City if they pull it off, with talks ongoing between the two clubs this month.
