Man City captain Vincent Kompany has praised the club for their move for Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian international is expected to have his move to the Etihad confirmed in the next two days, and Kompany is delighted that he will be joining him at club level too.

“We’ll see once everything’s been confirmed,” Kompany said after City’s 2-0 victory over Watford.
“We’ll have another player who’s dangerous, can score goals and is really efficient.
“It’s going to be a long season with a lot of competitions, and the squad can’t be big enough.”
The 24-year-old failed to have the desired impact at Stamford Bridge, but has gone on to rebuild his reputation and emerge as a top talent in Europe in the Bundesliga.
De Bruyne recorded 10 goals and 20 assists last season, and it is his ability to set up his teammates that will be seen as a crucial part of his chances of fitting into the squad after previously struggling to settle with Chelsea.
City have made a sensational start to the Premier League campaign, winning all four of their games and they have yet to concede. De Bruyne’s arrival will send their summer spending over £150m, but Manuel Pellegrini’s men seemingly have the momentum to go and get back their title from Chelsea.
