Manchester City could make a move for three of Europe’s best young talents in a major summer transfer raid, according to reports.

Wantaway Liverpool star Raheem Sterling, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Wolfsburg ace Kevin de Bruyne are all being targeted by the cashed-up Premier League club, according to The Daily Mail.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has promised the club will splash the cash in the summer after Manuel Pellegrini’s side went trophy-less last term.
The two-time Premier League winners are now free of Financial Fair Play restrictions, and Al Mubarak fired a warning at City’s rivals.
“I can assure you this squad will be stronger and the team will be more competitive. I am confident and excited about what is coming next year,” Al Mubarak is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
“We want to go to the next level with a squad that has the capability and quality to win the Premier League and compete in and win the Champions League and go all the way in the two cup competitions in England.
“You will see some changes. Some players who have served us well will move on to the next challenges, while you will see us in the market bringing high quality individuals to fit in with what we are aspiring to coming in this summer.”
It seems Pellegrini’s job as safe for now, but should City bring in quality reinforcements such as Sterling, Pogba and De Bruyne, the Spaniard will have no excuses next season.
