Manchester City are preparing to make another big move after agreeing to sign Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for £49m.
According to The Express, Man City are targeting Wolfsburg and former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
It will be a while before the Belgian international considers any sort of transfer deal though, according to his agent.
“Everyone wants Kevin in their team. But we will wait for Kevin to return from his vacation and then make the best choice for his career,” Patrick De Koster said on his client’s future.
De Bruyne left Chelsea after the 2013-14 season. He had spent the majority of that season with Wolfsburg, whom he had been sold to for £18m in January 2014.
He then proceeded to spend his entire 2014-15 season with the Bundesliga club, and he shined by scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances.
Wolfsburg went on to finish in second place in the Bundesliga standings behind three-time defending champion Bayern Munich.
De Bruyne has yet to receive significant playing time in the Premier League though, but he will undoubtedly cash in on his recent Bundesliga success.
City are ready to pay around £35m for De Bruyne.
