Man City are closing in on the signings of Nicolas Otamendi and Kevin de Bruyne, according to reports.
City have been heavily linked to both players this summer, and The Mirror reports the cashed-up Premier League giants are keen to finalise deals for both players.
Valencia centre-back Otamendi looked destined for a move to Manchester United, however, City are understood to be close to sealing a £32m deal for the 27-year-old.
The Argentine international is understood to have arrived in Manchester on Tuesday, and the report suggests Otamendi will officially become a City player within the next 48 hours.
Contrary to recent reports, The Mirror claims Wolfsburg ace Kevin de Bruyne is also on his way to the Etihad, with City set to splash around £56m on the former Chelsea man.
Should City complete deal for both players, it will take the club’s spending to over £150m this summer following the additions of Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph, Patrick Roberts and Enes Unal.
