Nasri’s injury not as bad as first feared.
Man City’s Samir Nasri has confirmed he will miss the next eight weeks of the season after suffering a partially ruptured ligament in his right leg against Newcastle on Sunday.

The France international was clattered in a late challenge by compatriot Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and there were fears Nasri could miss the remainder of the reason, and the World Cup, after he photographed this morning on crutches.
But the former Arsenal player took to twitter to confirm he would miss just eight weeks of the campaign, before revealing in French that he had suffered ligament damage:
