Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea could line-up against Liverpool this weekend, with the Spaniard reportedly set to hold talks with Louis van Gaal on Wednesday.
Van Gaal has left De Gea on the sidelines following uncertainty of the shot-stopper’s future, with the Dutch boss believing the Spanish international was not in the right mindset to take to the field.
De Gea looked set for a dream move to the Bernabeu last week, but the deal dramatically collapsed after required paperwork to complete the deal was filed a minute past deadline.
According to The Mirror, Van Gaal is now ready to reinstate De Gea as United’s no.1 and will hold peace talks on Wednesday.
Argentine international Sergio Romero has played in all six of United’s matches so far this season, but has looked shaky at times and De Gea’s return will come as a massive boost to the Red Devils.
United currently sit fifth on the Premier League table after four matches.
