Manchester United have reached an agreement with Besiktas over the transfer of goalkeeper Victor Valdes, according to reports.
The former Barcelona shot-stopper has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford following a reported fall-out with Louis van Gaal, and Metro reports the Turkish outfit have agreed to sign the Spaniard on a two-year deal.
Valdes joined the Red Devils from Barcelona in January, but only made two Premier League appearances with the club as he played second fiddle to David de Gea.
The 33-year-old was banished from the first-team by Van Gaal after reportedly refusing to play in a reserves match for the Red Devils, and his exit seemed inevitable.
Valdes will likely become the third Manchester United player to move to Turkey this summer after Robin van Persie and Nani joined Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
Sergio Romero currently remains first-choice in between the sticks for United, with David de Gea’s future still uncertain.
