Manchester United have agreed to terms with their replacement plan for goalkeeper David de Gea, according to The Metro.
Ajax star Jasper Cillessen has been the Red Devils’ top contingency target, and it appears that he will become their new starting stopper.
No deal will officially be reached until De Gea leaves for Real Madrid, but Cillessen is rumoured to be signing a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
De Gea continues to be linked to a move to the La Liga powerhouse and is keen to return to Spain.
Real Madrid have moved on from long-serving Iker Casillas, who has completed a transfer to Porto.
Cillessen has no Premier League experience, but the Dutch international shined for his country in the 2014 FIFA World Cup as they secured third place.
