Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has ended speculation over his future by seemingly committing himself to the club at pre-season training.
The Argentinian international had been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, particularly given that Napoli will not feature in the Champions League.

However, it appears as though he is ready to start fresh this season under new coach Maurizio Sarri, with talk that he may even sign a new contract with the Partenopei.
“I thank all the fans for being here, as we are training with real desire to have a great season. This team can do very well indeed,” he said at a supporter event.
“We all dream of winning something with Napoli and we are working to win.”
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis was asked by a fan if it was true that Higuain would be signing a new contract with the club. He responded: “What do you think he’s doing here? To get some fresh air?”
The 27-year-old has an impressive goalscoring record with the Italian giants, but with just a Coppa Italia in his first season to show for his efforts, the former Real Madrid star will be aiming for bigger prizes.
