The Bosnian international was speaking to Fox Sports in Australia ahead of the friendly against Man City on Tuesday.
However, the Giallorossi are unlikely to be too pleased with what he had to say as he didn’t commit his future to the club for the most part.
“When you’re a footballer you never know where you’ll play next season,” said Pjanic, as reported by Football Italia.
“Anything can happen, it’s never simple for a player, but I try to live calmly and not listen to rumours that the journalists talk about.”
The 25-year-old went on to add that he was happy in the Italian capital and is focused on becoming a better player and helping Rudi Garcia’s side be successful this season, even though the likes of Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for his services.
Meanwhile, he also discussed the potential of Edin Dzeko joining him in Rome and revealed that his compatriot “likes the club”.
