PSG star Thiago Silva has blasted the transfer fees that were spent by Man United and Man City in the summer transfer window.
United spent £36m on Anthony Martial this summer, while City splashed out £49m to sign Raheem Sterling as well as £55m on Kevin De Bruyne.

While the Ligue 1 champions haven’t been shy in spending big money on players in recent years since their takeover, many will agree with Silva that the recent fees spent by the Premier League giants have gone too far.
“Are the fees too much? On the edge of madness,” he said, according to the Evening Standard.
However, the central defender was full of praise for Martial in particular, insisting that the comparisons with Thierry Henry are warranted although it is still too early to be suggesting that he will go on to have a similarly successful career.
The former AC Milan star added that despite the Premier League clubs strengthening this summer, he is still confident of his side’s chances in the Champions League.
While Real Madrid and Bayern Munich remain the favourites, the likes of United and City will be looking to make an impression this year.
