Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all on alert, with Napoli attacker Gonzalo Higuain reportedly keen for a move away from the Serie A club.
Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, however Napoli are desperate to keep hold of one of its most prized assets.
According to Fichajes [via Daily Express] Higuain has made it clear to Napoli bosses that he is unhappy with life at the Partenopei and wants a move away from the club.
Napoli are not willing to allow the Argentine to leave unless a club is willing to match Higuain’s staggering £66m release clause.
United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been linked with the 27-year-old, however it is highly unlikely that any of the English trio will be willing to splurge £66m on the former Real Madrid man.
Higuain has scored 35 goals in 69 Serie A appearances for Napoli since joining the club in 2013.
