United are due to fly out for its pre-season tour on Monday, and The Mirror reports the Dutch manager wants both players gone so he can begin to settle with the players committed to the club for next season during the two-and-a-half week trip.
According to Sky Sports, Van Persie is close to completing a deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, however reports suggest late interest from Valencia and Atletico Madrid could delay the deal.
De Gea has been widely tipped to join Real Madrid this summer, and a deal could be forced through with Iker Casillas reportedly on the verge of joining Portuguese giants FC Porto.
The 24-year-old has just a year remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford, and Daily Express reports United value the player at £35m.
Real Madrid are understood to be unwilling to pay such an amount for a player in the final year of his contract, and it is believed United are happy to allow De Gea to run out the final year of his deal rather than sell the Spaniard cheaply.
