The Frenchman is believed to be United’s top target to replace Real Madrid-bound goalkeeper David de Gea.
Reports have claimed that Spurs will hold out for as much as £30m for their captain, who has made no secret of his desire to play Champions League football.

But the Daily Star claims that Lloris reached a verbal agreement with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy when signing a contract extension last year whereby he would be allowed to leave for €25m (£17.8m).
The 28-year-old has emerged as one of the world’s best between the sticks since joining Spurs from Lyon for £11m in 2012.
