Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has flown to Spain to complete a deal for Barcelona winger Pedro, reports suggest.
According to the Daily Mirror, Man United will attempt to seal a £22m deal for the Spanish international.
The Red Devils have targeted Pedro since selling midfielder Angel di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain for £44m.
Pedro is believed to be keen on a move to Old Trafford as he looks for increased first-team action.
The Champions League champs possess an embarrassment of riches in the front third, with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez combining last season to help the Catalan giants to a historic treble.
Nonetheless, Pedro was able to score 11 goals despite making only 15 starts in the La Liga.
The 28-year-old winger’s possible arrival at Old Trafford may be just what striker Wayne Rooney needs to overcome his slow start to his 2015-16 season.
