Untied have been heavily linked with moves for the international pair for some time now, as manager Louis Van Gaal is a big fan of the two and has identified them ideal components for his squad next season.
Dortmund had been hoping to keep both players to avoid their squad falling apart even further, but reports in Germany are now claiming that a deal to take them to Manchester is close to being completed.
It is believed that Gundogan, who was recently told that he would not be offered a new deal to stay at the club, has already agreed terms with the Red Devils, while Hummels is thought to be close to following him teammate out the door.
