West Ham will step up its pursuit of Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, with reports suggesting the London club will make an improved offer for the Mexican.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is understood to be keen to bring the 27-year-old to Upton Park before the end of the transfer window, and Daily Star reports that West Ham are ready to make a £12m offer.
West Ham previously had a bid rejected by the Red Devils, but Bilic is keen to bolster his attacking stocks and West Ham seem prepared to splash the cash.
The Hammers have also been linked with a move for Queens Park Rangers ace Charlie Austin and are believed to have had an £8.5m bid rejected for the England international.
According to Daily Star’s report, West Ham are also attempting to sign Atletico Madrid striker Raul Jimenez on a loan deal, however, the 24-year-old still needs a work permit.
