Man United and Real Madrid aren’t exactly getting along well, but the Red Devils seem confident that money can heal all wounds.
Despite a botched transfer deal for David de Gea and Keylor Navas that has left a bitter taste in mouths at Real Madrid, Man United believe they can still push a deal through for one of the club’s biggest stars.
According to the Telegraph, Man United’s brass are convinced that they haven’t damaged their relationship with Real Madrid over the De Gea debacle and are pushing forward with a transfer bid for superstar Gareth Bale next summer.
The decision comes in spite of a declaration from the club that David de Gea will NOT be transferred to Real Madrid during the January transfer window. De Gea was recently added to Man United’s Champions League squad – a strong indication that the row between the two sides is close to being resolved.
Man United have an extensive shopping list of Real Madrid superstars, which yesterday was revealed to include a variety of stars includeing Bale, Karim Benzema, and Raphael Varane. Man United have also been linked to moves for Sergio Ramos and even Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Telegraph reported that Bale has already accepted that he won’t be allowed to transfer in January.
