The Spaniard has previously been reported as saying that he wanted out of the Bernabeu and that he was only interested in a switch to Old Trafford.
While that has been met with resistance from Madrid who don’t want to lose the 29-year-old, it remains to be seen whether or not they are forced into selling the Spanish international.
Ramos was pressed by reporters at a wedding in Seville and revealed that he wasn’t in talks with either Madrid or United at this time.
“I’m not negotiating with anyone,” he told Cuatro, having previously offered a simple “all is well”, as reported by Goal.
The World Cup winner then declined to comment when asked if he would be staying in the Spanish capital next season, which in turn will be sure to spark further rumours that he is pushing for a departure.
Ramos has been with the club for 10 years, but it remains to be seen whether it will be 11 as he seemingly is set on a new adventure with a switch to work with Louis Van Gaal still a possibility.
However, with no on-going negotiations, the Dutch tactician may well eventually be forced to consider his other options if a deal isn’t realistic.
