Benzema has spent his last six seasons with Real Madrid, and his agent revealed that his client will be staying with the club.
Karim Djaziri laughed at the idea of Benzema moving to Manchester United and insisted that Benzema wants to finish his career at Real Madrid.
“Karim wants to see out his contract. He wants to retire at Real Madrid,” Djaziri said to ESPN FC.
Benzema will be observing a coaching change if his client’s comments are accurate, as Real Madrid let go of Carlo Ancelotti after just two seasons.
After leading Real Madrid to the Champions League title in 2014, Ancelotti’s squad was not able to win any major trophies, and he was let go as a result and replaced by Rafa Benitez.
The France international scored 15 goals for Real Madrid in La Liga matches this season, and he will return to a squad stacked with other prolific scorers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
