Manchester United have resurrected its interest in Harry Kane, with reports suggesting the Red Devils are keen to make a move for the striker before the end of the transfer window.
United boss Louis van Gaal is understood to be keen to bolster his attacking stocks following the departures of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao, and The Mirror reports the Red Devils have made an enquiry over the England international.
According to the report, the Old Trafford club have yet to make a formal bid for the 22-year-old and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is understandably keen to hold onto one of his most prized assets.
Kane is currently Tottenham’s only option up front, with Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor both expected to exit White Hart Lane this summer.
United are also short on depth in the attacking third, and Kane would no doubt be a massive signing for the Premier League giants.
