Man United are plotting a impressive double swoop on PSG’s Edinson Cavani and Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi, according to reports.
Despite already signing Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, United’s summer spending spree is far from over.
According to Daily Express, Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is eyeing a £75m swoop for both Cavani and Otamendi.
It is understood PSG want Angel di Maria in exchange for Cavani, however United are reported to be willing to do a £50m straight cash deal to bring the Uruguayan to Old Trafford.
Otamendi has long been linked with a move to United, and Daily Express reports the Red Devils are keen to sign the £25m-rated centre-back after failing the sign first-choice targets Mats Hummels and Sergio Ramos.
With Robin van Persie having signed with Fenerbahce this week, Van Gaal is eyeing a replacement for the Dutchman and sees Cavani as the man for the job.
The former Napoli man has starred for PSG since joining the club in 2013, scoring 34 goals in 65 Ligue 1 matches.
