Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin are a midfield duo that could take Man United to the next level. Have Chelsea and Arsenal been put on notice?
By now just about every Man United fans and their grandparents know that Louis van Gaal and club Exec. Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward have made a major splash by bringing in two of the best midfielders on the market – Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin – to Old Trafford. Naturally, a lot of them took to social media to praise the move and beat their chests at Arsenal and Chelsea.
Let’s see how that played out on Twitter this past weekend:
Naturally it was Ed Woodward who got a lot of the praise for getting those stars along with Matteo Darmian to put pen to paper.

But it was the marquee signings themselves that have made Man United fans jump with excitement:
With Schweinteiger and Schneiderlin, ManU are looking scary now. We need to invest our money for the “now” instead of more youth

Can’t wait for Spurs on the opening day of the season. Watching Darmian, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger make their debuts will be lovely.

Schneiderlin to Man United looks like a terrific signing. Darmian, Schweinsteiger & Morgan inside the space of 48 hours. Efficient & astute.

Man United has a pretty darn good roster right now, and if they can keep things together, they can make a serious run at the Premier League title during the 2015-16 season.
