The honeymoon is over – now PSG is finding out that Angel Di Maria wasn’t as good as his first game.
A dreadful performance by one of the biggest flops in Man United history has fans glad they sold him when they did.
Paris Saint-Germain just finished a 2-2 draw against Bordeaux with former Red Devils record-breaking transfer Angel Di Maria in the starting XI. But as it was in many games at Old Trafford, Di Maria’s impact in the game was minimal.
Squwka Dave on Twitter noted the extent of Angel Di Maria’s contribution in the game and it was not a pretty sight on paper:

Di Maria was acquired by Man United in 2014 on the largest transfer in Premier League history – a whopping £59.7 million. But Di Maria failed to make an impact for the team after suffering an injury and failing to transition to a new position under Louis van Gaal.
At the end of the summer, Man United cut their losses with Di Maria and sold him to PSG for £44 million.
