Manchester United starlet Nick Powell is set to return early from his loan spell with Leicester City, and will instead join Championship side Bolton Wanderers in a new short-term deal, report the Daily Mail.

Powell made just three substitute appearances for the Foxes, with City losing all three of those games. But Bolton are prepared to offer him another chance as they seek promotion back to the Premier League.
Powell has long been hailed as one of England’s great hopes but his attitude has been brought into question over recent seasons by coaches at United, Wigan and now Leicester.
He scored on his United debut against Wigan and seemed tuned in to the task ahead, but his career has stalled in recent years, and now Bolton boss Neil Lennon will be hoping to get the 20-year-old back on track.
