De Gea Real Madrid rumours strengthen as Man United boss admits Valdes not happy as backup.
The 22-year-old was Sir Alex Ferguson’s last signing for the club before he announced his retirement, but he was unable to force his way into the plans of successor David Moyes and was shipped out on loan to Cardiff City in the second half of the campaign.
He made a total of four appearances for United before being sent back to Palace on a season long agreement this time around.
And despite the club’s struggles near the bottom of the league, the England under-21 international has begun to rediscover his form.
Zaha admitted that he could be interested in making the loan move a permanent one, citing Alan Pardew’s arrival as one of the factors for his recent performances.
“Coming back to Palace would be great but that’s in the future, so I’ll decide then,” he said.
“The manager has come in and given everyone confidence and it has showed really. I’m happy to be playing again.
“I’m just glad I’m part of it and I think we can definitely stay up.”
