Manchester United have yet to agree a fee for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to reports.
Speculation on Monday claimed that the Red Devils were close to sealing a £25m deal for the France international.
But Sky Sports claims that United failed with an offer for Schneiderlin 10 days ago and have not returned with an improved bid.

The sum was said to be under Southampton’s £25m valuation of the 25-year-old, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
It remains to be seen whether this latest development reopens the door for the North London rivals in the race for one of the Premier League’s best.
United might be cooling their interest in Schneiderlin because Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger is thought to be Louis van Gaal’s top midfield target.
