Manchester United have a “great chance” of signing Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports.
Ronaldo had been heavily linked with an exit from the La Liga giants during the summer window, however, the 30-year-old remained put at the Bernabeu.
However, French journalist Frederic Hermel says Ronaldo is keen to leave Real Madrid next summer and that United will battle Paris Saint-Germain and MLS clubs for the Portugal international’s signature.
“I think that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. I have information that confirms this,” Hermel told Le10Sport, as reported by Metro.
“I’ve been told by strong sources, very important ones, that Manchester [United], Paris Saint-Germain and the MLS have a great chance of fighting over Cristiano Ronaldo’s services at the end of the season.”
Ronaldo has scored an incredible 230 goals in 203 La Liga appearances for Real Madrid since making the move from Manchester United in 2009.
