Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced talks over the transfer of striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
The Mexican international has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer despite the fact United boss Louis van Gaal is light on attacking options.
According to Daily Star, Tottenham, West Ham United and Fenerbahce are all keen to sign the former Guadalajara man, however, Sky Sports claims the striker is nearing a move to the Bundesliga heavyweights.
The 27-year-old has struggled to make an impact this season and looked completely devoid of any form and confidence during United’s Champions League play-off win against Club Brugge last week.
Hernandez spent last season on loan with La Liga giants Real Madrid and gave United fans hope of a strong return to the club after netting seven La Liga goals.
Van Gaal is understood to be keen to offload the striker before the transfer deadline, and it seems Hernandez is set for a move to Germany.
