Manchester United are in talks with Lazio over star Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson, according to reports.
The youngster was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer window, but it now seems the highly-rated playmaker could be on his way to the Premier League in January.
According to reports in Spain, United are currently it talks with Lazio over the availability of the Brazilian youth international.
It is understood Lazio are desperate to keep hold of one of its most prized assets, and will force United to dig deep into their its considerable coffers as Anderson is contracted to the Serie A heavyweights until 2020.
Lazio failed to qualify for this season’s Champions League following a play-off defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, and Anderson is still eligible to play to United in the competition should he join the club in January.
Anderson has made 58 appearances for the Serie A giants, scoring 12 goals.
He is regarded as being one of the brightest talents in European football and would be a massive addition to the United line-up should he make the move to the Premier League.
Soccerlens reports Anderson to be valued at around £36.5m.
