Van Gaal is yet to have a clean bill of health since taking over at the club over the summer, and at one point even had ten first team players on the sidelines.
However, he has been given a huge boost ahead of Monday’s clash with West Brom as seven of his crocked stars are making their return from injury.
Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young were back in action at Carrington today and both expected to be fit to face the Baggies.
Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Michael Carrick were also spotted at the Aon Training Complex but are still struggling with hip, hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.
However, Paddy McNair, Jonny Evans and Jesse Lingard were notable absentees.
