Man United agree to transfer deal for Hoffenheim midfielder
Exciting £35m Man United transfer target CONFIRMS talks
They have agreed to terms with winger Memphis Depay and Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino, and they are on the verge of bringing in Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi.
The Red Devils are aggressively looking to upgrade their defense, which proved to be a detriment to their performance in the 2014-15 season.
Their newest target is Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, who is only 22 years old.
The French international is already considered one of the best defenders in the world, and Man United now has him at the top of their priority list.
Coincidentally, Real Madrid is also after one of the Red Devils’ key players, as they are going after goalkeeper David de Gea.
This may possibly put the two teams in position to strike some sort of deal between de Gea and Varane.
If Varane can play to his full potential after landing at Man United, the Red Devils may be in position to contend for a Premier League title once again after finishing the 2014-15 season in fourth place.
