Manchester United have tabled a bid in an attempt to sign Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale before the transfer window closes, according to reports.
The Welsh international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer, and Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims the Premier League giants have made a £72.5m bid for the former Tottenham man.
BOOM! Manchester United have made a bid of approx 100m€ for Gareth Bale! Real Madrid still have to answer

Real Madrid have insisted Bale is not for sale this summer, however, a bid of such magnitude could potentially turn the head of club president Florentino Perez.
Bale was often the scapegoat for Real Madrid’s trophyless season last term despite scoring 17 goals in all competitions, with Los Blancos fans turning on the former Tottenham man following his world-record £86m move to the club in 2013.
The 25-year-old would be a massive signing for the struggling Red Devils and the arrival of Bale could potentially put United back on track to fight it out for the Premier League title.
