Manchester United have tabled a bid for Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson, according to reports.
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer window, but it now seems the highly-rated youngster could be on his way to the Premier League in January.
According to Tuttomercatoweb [via Daily Express], the Red Devils have already put on offer on the table for the Brazilian youth international despite the embarrassment in riches Louis van Gaal has in midfield.
Lazio failed to qualify for this season’s Champions League following a play-off defeat to Bundesliga heavyweights Bayer Leverkusen, and Anderson is still eligible to play to United in the competition should he join the club during the winter window.
Anderson has made 58 appearances for the Serie A giants, scoring 12 goals.
He is regarded as being one of the brightest talents in European football and would be a massive addition to the United line-up should he make the move to Old Trafford in January.
