After a sensational season for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane is the most talked about rising star in football. Will he win the Golden Boot in 2016?
If he can eat, breathe and score 20 goals a season, Man United will pursue him relentlessly and that appears to be the case with Tottenham Hotspur scoring sensation Harry Kane.
According to the Metro, Man United officially submitted a bid to the Spurs for the £45m-rated superstar who finished second behind Sergio Aguero in scoring last season. However, the Metro also noted that a Spanish newspaper reported that the undisclosed offer for Harry Kane was rejected. The 22-year-old Kane had an almost inexplicable breakout season with Tottenham last year, scoring 21 goals in the league and 31 total goals in his first full season as a starter.
With Tottenham currently building around Kane in order to take the step step on the Premier League table – where they finished 5th last season and struggled defensively – the bid for Kane would likely need to be extremely high in order to secure the star’s transfer.
Harry Kane has been with Tottenham since 2004 when he was an 11-year-old member of their youth league and made his senior debut on various loan spells in 2010. He is considered a top contender for the Golden Boot this season.
