Bale’s frustrating season in Spain has led to constant talks linking him to the Red Devils. Bale has been with Real since 2013, after joining the club for a record-breaking £85 million. He scored 17 goals in all competitions for the club this term, but the club’s season still ended in disappointment without a trophy.
Apparently, Bale has been unhappy at Real because of his team-mates not passing to him, according to his agent Jonathan Barnett.
“Real have to work with Gareth and pass the ball to him more,” Barnett said. “Give him more of the ball and let him show everybody what he’s good at. He’s going to be the best player at Real Madrid when his team-mates work with him and help him. Hopefully Real will come to terms with this.”
French defender Varane has also been linked Chelsea in recent weeks.
