Fell awkwardly on his injured wrist after 18 minutes and was subbed, so did not have enough time to impress. Most United fans will have been pleased to see Januzaj replace him.
Darren Fletcher: 7
Ran the midfield alongside the ineffective Fellaini and won the free-kick leading to Mata’s opener. United look so much better when he is playing.
Marouane Fellaini: 5
The Belgian was again lucky to escape a ban after appearing to fling an elbow at Gosling. Meek and feeble in possession again. Poor.
