Carrick did a superb job in the centre of the park, keeping Palace quiet as well as initiating attacks from deep.
CM) Marouane Fellaini – 6.5
Dominant in the air for United and constantly found himself on the ball. He was perhaps not the creative spark that his side needed in possession however.
CAM) Wayne Rooney – 6.0
Was consistently hard working, but struggled to have any real impact on the game. His shooting was also somewhat wayward.
