Here are the player ratings according to Fanatix:
GK) David de Gea – 6.0
May as well have not been there, it was one way traffic and Hull never really threatened the Spaniard.
RB) Antonio Valencia – 6.5
Didn’t have much to do defensively, but was a good attacking outlet for United.
CB) Chris Smalling – 7.5
Claimed the first goal after a bit of pinball in the box, and managed a clean sheet against a rather toothless Hull.
CB) Marcos Rojo – 6.5
His first start since returning from injury, looked a little rusty at times but still managed a clean sheet.
LB) Ashley Young – 6.5
Hull really should have tested the makeshift left-back more, but he rarely had much defending to do.
